THRIFTYEGOS is an exhibition of collaborative paintings by GENT and NEWSO - FORTYEIGHTS. The UK based graffiti artists share a strong visual identity and have been painting walls together for over a decade.

Over the last few years they have completed several large commercial commissions based on this style of work and they continue to push their collaboration style in new ways. This show promises a fresh take on their work together, including abstracted letterforms and contemporary figurative illustration.

Graffiti is a game of egos, writing on walls, getting by and making do. THRIFTYEGOS is an anagram of FORTYEIGHTS their crew name that is an anagram of TOYFIGHTERS.

The exhibition opens Thursday 3rd September 2015 at Proof London and runs at the space until the 27th October.

Anna Lomax's Luxury Goods @KK Outlet‏

KK Outlet are excited to infinity and beyond! Anna Lomax takes over ther KK Outlet’s gallery space throughout September 2015.

Luxury Goods is focused on a continuing fascination with the pound shop, the seemingly unattainable and the place Anna calls home - London.

The show explores ideas around material, replacing the authentic with the fake, the enduring with the disposable and the line between mass production and the limited edition resulting in a new body of work involving uncomfortable pairings, glossy finishes, bright lights, with a sense of nostalgia and a longing for fantasy objects. Expect neon, prints, holograms, terrazzo marble, brass and much much more.

Join them at the exhibition launch party this Thursday, 3rd September, 7-9pm.

Refreshments on the night provided by Wray & Nephew, white overproof rum cocktails served in Anna Lomax hand carved baby watermelons adorned with logos.

Luxury Goods is part of the London Design Festival, ICON Design Trail and Shoreditch Design Triangle.
