Street Artist Zabou ‘In Their Eyes’ Exhibition

French Street Artist Zabou ‘In Their Eyes’ Exhibition

In March 2022 London's Saatchi gallery will present ‘In Their Eyes’, a solo exhibition in their Gallery 15 space that will showcases new original works by French street artist Zabou.

The exhibition features a newly commissioned mural work, images of murals executed in recent years and preparatory photographs from the artist’s private collection.

“I’m excited to present my first solo exhibition at Saatchi Gallery. This event has been a long-time coming, because it was postponed multiple times due to the pandemic. The show will feature new original portrait works, as well as some of my murals, all featuring the amazing models behind them. They are at the heart of the exhibition.” – Zabou

Jonni Cheatwood x Fluorescent Smogg Print Collab

Jonni Cheatwood x Fluorescent Smogg Print CollaborationFluorescent Smogg presents their second collaboration with LA based American/Brazilian artist Jonni Cheatwood.

For this new large format edition Jonni visited the London print studio during the production to hand finish each copy of the edition.

“There is a lot of texture and movement on these works. I wanted to make these prints look like the original painting. It’s the largest print that I’ve ever done, but with the shortest print run. Each one has been hand finished by me making each print unique. Each print is a 1 of 1”

The work depicts a painter and his subject mid way through the portrait process; by hand finishing each piece, Jonni is adding another layer of complexity to the composition, painting the subject as both the artist in the piece and again as the artist himself.
