Futura, formerly known as Futura 2000, is the godfather of graffiti, defining the art form in the early 80s alongside DONDI, Jean-Michel Basquiat and Keith Haring. He has since designed for The Clash, worked with Nike, Levi's, A Bathing Ape and Hennessy and even appeared in John Mayer's video for Waiting on the World to Change, constantly adapting his talent to the changes in society and the media.  ONline video magazine Crane.tv meet the Brooklyn-based graffiti artist in his neighbourhood where he opens up to Crane.tv about a near damning incident that changed his outlook on art, his future and ultimately life in general, and find out why his motivations have always been more than fame and money.
